I have so many unfinished projects floating around and an affliction called 'sudden onset of buttery craft fingers' where every time I pick something up I just happen to make it a little worse. It's kind of like a creative adolescence where everything I do is just a little awkward. I am hoping this stage will go quickly... so far it has been around for a week. Maybe it's a transition stage and there is something new and amazing waiting for me on the other side. Can you just come over to play and bring them with you?! We could spend the day working on them... I'm sure the kids will find something to do themselves!
Things there look pretty lovely to me. I know what you mean though. I'm feeling it a little myself at the moment.
I've been reading The Artist's Way and it suggests that when this happens it's because we are trying to be perfect, and we should just get on with enjoying the process.
